Dr. Aoki and  ADRI  continue to vigorously pursue  the patent infringement action filed in 2011 against Gregory Ford Gilbert, Trina Health, Bionica Inc, and many others supposedly licensed by Mr. Gilbert and or his companies – US District Court, Eastern District of California,  case number 2:11-cv-02797.    Despite having no rights to the therapy, Mr. Gilbert has continued to market the therapy under various names, most recently Artificial Pancreas Treatment.  The number of defendants in the case has grown as more clinics have opened.  Seven defendants in the case have already settled.  Clinics belonging to several defendants have closed.
